As I sit here
Tembling
Wondering
If there will ever be a chance for me
To escape
This prison of pain and sorrow
As my Captor
Paces back and forth in front of my cage
I cower in the shadows
Hoping to be shielded from his attacks
By the Darkness
I am numbed by pain
Blow by Blow
My World is shaken
Hurt by His vicious tirade
Pushing me towards the edge of insanity
Paralyzed by fear
Tears stream down my face
As I continue to endure the pain
Angel of Death
Come rescue me
Take me away from this madness known as my reality
Free me from my despair
And take me to the Land of Morpheus
Where I may suffer
No more.
