Sunken waves play against our faces
and unfurl opalescent fins
where splintered sunlight glitters
and moss cloaked treasures sleep.
Currents turn us into wanderers
slipping ever farther from the shore
seeking gardens where sea flowersblossom
from abandoned pearly shells.
