this is very beautiful. the canvas texture gives it an aged look, like this is an image from the past. the red hue gives a subtle intensity. the soft tones and shades are a nice compliment to the dark grim details of her face. one small thing I notice on the technical side I find askew, the drippings from her mouth, on the outer edge of her lips you can see her mouth is in a relaxed neutral position, but the angle of the dripping substance is at a fairly sharp downward angle, almost giving the impression that her mouth is in a deep frown. is this because the eerie hand on the right has spread this substance over her lips? if it is draining from the mouth itself it would seem more logical to have it flow from the natural crease of her lips. just a small technical thought. over all this is a wonderful piece.
Do you work for or have you heard of White Wolf? They do RPG books, and your style, espicially this picture and Howl of Agony make me think of their World of Darkness setting
Have a look at them, I think you mind find them quite interesting and if you wnat some freelance work that could be the cover art for a book thousands of nerds will buy, definitely try out
You're stuff is much better than some of the art pieces they've used before, so I think they may be impressed- I can't say for certain, but if you're interested I think it would be worth a try
