Need Help From The British Deviants :o) + 100,000

Hey Everyone

Wow 100,000 pageviews!! Thanks so much guys!

Many of you who have read my last jounal know me and my boyfriend, Richard will be going on a holiday to London on the 4th of April. Well in these days I have been planning the trip, what attractions to see and when, familiarizing with transport there etc.

I infact have a question to make to anyone who lives in England especially London. How much does a normal ticket cost to travel with the underground tube? Also same question for the bus. And is there a travel card i can make that saves the hassle to pay everytime? Last question to anyone who went to Her Majesty's Theatre or lives near, what's the dress code to go see a musical there?

_{I wish i could help, but i don't know London well enough for specific prices of anything like that.. I've only ever been there a handfull of times.

If I remember correctly, the London subway system costs one to one and a half pounds. I was there last Summer, but I was all over Europe, too, so I'm not so clear on that.
You can buy tickets worth one ride, ten rides, or fifty rides for the subway, which means you can reuse your ticket any time you need to get in.

As for the theater, I'm almost certain you'll want to dress up on your nicest clothing.

I don't know about the theatre, but when I go to London I get a travel card which I think costs about £5:50. That allows you to go on tube, train and bus for one day. Hope this is helpful!

the tube travelcard is 5 pounds per day but if u stay long its better to have oyster pass

In easter I Stay on computer locked in my room Trying to run from most of my uncles and aunts and sometimes my mother comes to see how I'm going and maybe bring something to eat xD

You can either buy it in Heathrow the moment you touchdown or, in any tube stations.
As I'm sure you're aware by now, the tube works by different zones, from 1-6; 1 being the centre and 6 the farthest. My advice is, see the furthest areas of the city you wish to visit and buy a pass containing only those areas and then two tickets that cover the 6 so you can go from the airport to your hotel and vice versa. 6 zones tickets are expensive and so this way is cheaper
